His dedication to the sport goes beyond achieving good results for himself. Irwan coach for Singapore Polytechnic Climbing Team and has produced many skilful climbers throughout his coaching career.

As head honcho for BFF Climb setting team, Irwan's impeccable attention to detail in route setting has made him one of the most sought Chief Setters to work with locally and regionally.
